Celebrate a Decade of Shaping Ghana and Africa’s Trade and Economic Future

This October, join the Ghana International Trade and Finance Conference (GITFiC) as we commemorate our 10th Anniversary on 14th and 15th October 2026.

For the past ten years, GITFiC has remained at the forefront of advancing Ghana’s integration and economic transformation. Through ten successful stakeholder and annual conferences, we have brought together world leaders, policymakers, captains of industry, development partners, and international institutions to shape conversations on Africa’s trade and development agenda.

Over the years, GITFiC has championed important initiatives, including the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS), and the Global Debt Initiative, helping to influence policies that drive sustainable economic growth across the continent.

In partnership with the Government of Ghana, industry leaders, regional institutions, and continental stakeholders, GITFiC proudly led the declaration of Accra as the Commercial Capital of Africa, in recognition of the hosting of the AfCFTA Secretariat.

GITFiC is also the author of the only comprehensive book on the AfCFTA endorsed by the African Union, the European Union, and several Chief Negotiators from AfCFTA Member States.

In collaboration with the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the President of the African Development Bank, GITFiC also launched the landmark Global Debt Initiative, reinforcing its commitment to Africa’s sustainable economic future.

As we celebrate this milestone, we invite governments, businesses, academia, financial institutions, development partners, investors, and the general public to be part of this historic occasion.
