2023 - Past Press Conference:

Two well researched papers by the GITFiC was out doored to the general public on December 2023. This press briefing event was held at the offices of the World Bank in Accra, Ghana. The two papers are;

1. GLOBAL DEBT TO GDP POST COVID-19 (Sub-Saharan Africa)
2. UNRAVELLING THE GLOBAL CENTRAL BANKS’ LOSSES

2020 – Past Press Conference:

The 4th Ghana International Trade & Finance Conference was held in October 27th and 28th at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, Accra – Ghana. This was held in partnership with the Accra Metropolitan Assembly and the Association for Ghana Industry. The first presser was held in February 2020 at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly and this was between the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana International Trade & Finance Conference (Mr. Selasi Koffi Ackom) , The Mayor of Accra (Honorable Mohammed Adjei Sowah) and the Greater Accra Chairman of the Association of Ghana Industry (Mr. Tsonam Cleanse Akpeloo).
The second press conference was again held at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly and this was again between the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana International Trade & Finance Conference (Mr. Selasi Koffi Ackom) , The Mayor of Accra (Honorable Mohammed Adjei Sowah) and the Greater Accra Chairman of the Association of Ghana Industry (Mr. Tsonam Cleanse Akpeloo), The President of the Ghana Canada Chamber of Commerce (Mr. Alexander Nortey), A Senior Technical Executive Officer of the Ghana International Trade Commission (Mr. Afreh) and the Business Development Manager of the Ghana Free Zones Authority (Mr. Ernest Amoah). A section of the diplomatic corps in Ghana and the business community were also present. The 4th Conference was dubbed; The AfCFTA Edition.

2019 – Past Press Conference:

The 3rd Ghana International Trade & Finance Conference successfully held three Press Conferences prior to the conference at the African Union Headquarters. The first Press Conference was held at the Ethiopian Embassy in Accra Ghana. The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana International Trade & Finance Conference (Mr. Selasi Koffi Ackom) joined the Ambassador for Ethiopia to Ghana (H.E Regassa) to address a section of the Ghanaian Press about the partnership between GITFIC, the Ethiopian Embassy and the Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations for the 3rd annual conference. The second Press Conference was held in Addis Ababa Ethiopia between the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana International Trade & Finance Conference (Mr. Selasi Koffi Ackom) and the Secretary General of the Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce (Mr. Gatechaw Regaasa) and it’s President (Mrs. Mesebet Shenkute). The third Presser was held jointly in Accra Ghana at the International Press Center and this was between Executives of the Ghana International Trade & Finance Conference, Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations and the Ethiopian Embassy in Accra, Ghana.
